The Talking Rock General is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. We invite you to visit and try your luck in our Gemstone Mining sluiceways or strike it big Gold Panning. We have two mining sluices capable of holding up to 30 gemstone miners and a gold panning trough that will hold up to 15 people. Both areas are outdoor and are covered while offering a fresh breeze from fans to keep you cool and comfortable while you treasure hunt!

Talking Rock General has a newly opened 18-hole Natural Turf Mini Golf Course. We offer private and corporate events/ parties along with Gemstone Mining, Fossil Digging, Gold Panning. We also have a gift shop where you will find fine jewelry, affordable gemstone treasures, and custom-made wood crafts/gifts for all ages.
